Alabama Crimson Tide at Mississippi State Bulldogs

The #2 Alabama Crimson Tide is visiting the Mississippi State Bulldogs this Saturday, this is sure to be a big hitting game Alabama’s defense is arguably  one of the best in the nation. Their all star linebacker Rolando Mcclain will strike fear in the Bulldog offense. Mcclain anchors the Bama defense with 35 tackles, 3 sacks, and 3 interceptions. There is no doubt that the Bulldog offense will have to constantly recognize where Mcclain is. Another force on the Bama Defense is Terrence Cody a.k.a. Mount Cody. this massive man is basically the whole internal line. With Cody’s body it is almost impossible to block him as we saw in the Tennessee game with his 2 blocked field goals. It will be a massive struggle for Mississippi to run the ball inside the tackles on any down besides 3rd. On the offensive side of the ball Bama has 2 outstanding sophomores. The one with the greatest impact in running back Mark Ingram. Ingram is now sitting 1st on the Heisman poll. In 2009 alone Ingram has a total of 1,148 yards on 175 attempts with 8 touchdowns. While he stands only at a mere 5′10″ he is a dense 210 lbs. Ingram is a quick strong compact runner who can juke you out of your jock or just flatten you like a pancake. The other impact sophomore in Julio Jones. This 6′4″ receiver has amazing hands and the ability to do amazing things after the catch. Not only can Julio catch the ball but its the things he can do when he doesn’t have the ball. When he runs his routes his cuts are on a dime not an inch off but also when he knows he isn’t going to get the ball he is a great blocker which in my mind makes a great receiver. It is clear that Mississippi will have their hands full with Bama
